It has been a fabulous summer at Britten and we are looking to the future and expanding our team. We are looking for 3 staff members in the roles below to work in our studio boutique in Bradford on Avon near Bath - its a very pretty place to work! We are a fast growing e-commerce company with 3 brands (two bridal and one consumer goods) and big goals; we want people excited to help us with them and share in the success. You should probably know that we share our space with Alf the dog ;)
- Order & office co-ordinator [full time]. This person will be responsible for all the day to day processes of getting bridal orders made and delivered in the time allowed. To include collating orders, allocating work to staff, ordering supplies, monitoring despatch and customer service issues. This person will also host ad-hoc appointments with brides and be required to work occasional Saturdays helping brides during planned appointments. We are a 'zero defect' company so aim for perfection - you should enjoy such ambitious aims! Ideally you'll have some relevant experience and strong IT skills.
- Senior maker [full time]. This person will be creating many of our pieces to order in a timely fashion. They must be able to work under pressure and organise their time effectively. Relevant skills such as hand sewing would be an advantage but full training given.
- Packaging & dispatch administrator [full time]. This person, under the supervision of our order & office co-ordinator (see above), combines products with the correct packaging and manages the despatch process with Royal Mail. This role requires attention to detail, some IT skills and flexibility as all 3 of our online brands (2 bridal and one consumer goods) are combined for despatch.
