Real bride Iona married in Edinburgh during the 'Beast from the East' snowstorm in early 2018, when a red weather warning shut down transport and shops across the city in the days before her wedding. Despite her dress, hairdresser, and family travel plans being thrown into chaos, friends and strangers rallied to help everything come together, and the ceremony went ahead as a snowy winter wedding. She wore Britten's Ilona silk-style barely-there veil with an a-line dress, photographed by Kim McDonald of Cademuir Photography.
