Kate and Greig married at The Bothy in Glasgow's West End after a secretly-planned surprise wedding, held during a one-month engagement following Greig's proposal at Drumlanrig Castle. The intimate ceremony for twenty-three guests was conducted by minister Jim Teasdale, followed by a three-course meal and cake from Rosewood Cakes. Kate wore a full-skirted dress from David's Bridal, a single tier cut edge wedding veil (Niacae) from Britten, and carried a bouquet of white roses and baby's breath from Lavender Blue.
