Choosing your veil colour

It's almost impossible to judge veil colour accurately from a designer dress photo — lighting, editing and screen settings all change how it appears. Designer colour names aren't reliable either: what one brand calls ivory, another calls white or off-white.

We offer two shades:

Off-white — our palest shade. A soft, clean bridal white with very little warmth or creaminess.

Ivory — warmer and creamier. Best suited to gowns with a soft or traditional ivory tone.

If you are still not sure you can order samples; compare them in natural light against your dress.

'Solene' is a bridal scarf cut from fine French Chantilly lace. Sheer and delicate, with scalloped eyelash edges, it measures 3 metres long and approximately 34cm wide, giving you plenty of length to style it your way. Wear it in place of a veil, or as a finishing touch to your wedding dress. Get in touch with any questions.

  • Style it your way: wrap it as a neck scarf, drape it over your shoulders as a shawl, or wear it over your hair as a lace head scarf or bandana.
  • No comb or fixed attachment, so you can change the look from the ceremony to the evening.
  • French Chantilly lace, with fine floral detail on a sheer net and a soft eyelash edge.
  • Cut and finished by hand in our Bath workshop.
