At Britten Weddings, every veil and accessory is designed and made by hand in our small studio near Bath. We are not a large fashion house with vast production budgets, seasonal campaign teams, or overseas factories. We are a small, highly skilled atelier, and our time is spent where we believe it matters most: on the design, cut, materials, hand-finishing, and craftsmanship of the pieces themselves.
We sometimes use carefully created AI-assisted imagery to help show our veils in a beautiful editorial context. This allows brides to better imagine how a veil might feel when styled with a gown, photographed in soft light, or worn as part of a complete bridal look.
What matters most is this: the veil itself is always represented accurately. We do not use AI to exaggerate the detail, quality, scale, lace, embellishment, or finish of our pieces. The imagery is there to support the styling and atmosphere — not to mislead. The veil you see is the veil we make.
Traditional bridal photoshoots can cost thousands of pounds once you include models, photographers, stylists, studios, gowns, hair and makeup, locations, and editing. For a small handmade business, doing this for every veil, lace, variation, and new design would add significant cost. Rather than building those costs into our prices, we choose to use technology thoughtfully so we can keep our collections beautifully presented while keeping our pieces fairly and competitively priced.
This approach means more of our time, care, and budget can go into the things our brides actually receive: exceptional tulles, beautiful laces, careful handwork, considered proportions, and pieces made individually in England. It allows us to remain small, independent, and genuinely craft-led, rather than passing large campaign costs on to our customers.
We see AI-assisted imagery as a modern tool in service of traditional craftsmanship. It helps us communicate the romance and elegance of a veil, while preserving the heart of what we do: handmade bridal pieces, designed and finished with care by real people in our studio.
