'Tillie' is a classic hand-crafted single tier wedding veil with delicate lace edge all the way around. Gathered at the top and secured with a silver-plated comb. Its timeless elegance ensures you'll treasure it for years to come.
Made in our Bath workshop, a stone's throw from the Abbey. Each piece is crafted individually—never mass-produced or imported.
We source materials from specialist mills and suppliers in England, Italy and the USA, selected for quality and longevity.
Every order arrives beautifully wrapped and ready to gift. No additional packaging needed—just hand it over. Presented in our signature keepsake box with grosgrain ribbon.
Founded by Sarah, Britten is an independent atelier seen in The Crown on Netflix, featured in Vogue and Style Me Pretty.
"This veil is a great option if you want a delicate lace edge that doesn't detract from your dress. The lace detailing adds just the right amount of romance without overwhelming your gown." — Sarah, Founder
Consider your dress style and venue - fingertip (122cm) suits shorter dresses, whilst cathedral (300cm) creates drama for formal ceremonies. Our wedding veil guide provides detailed advice, or please get in touch for personalised guidance.
Absolutely - we offer delicate lace edge samples so you can feel the quality and see the intricate detailing. We also provide traditional tulle samples in both colour options.
Proper storage preserves your veil's delicate lace for years to come. Our veil bag and hanging clip keeps it safely stored and wrinkle-free. Hang it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Our lace edge is carefully finished with smooth edges to prevent catching. The delicate design is lightweight and flows beautifully without interfering with your dress details or movement.
Of course! We're a small, dedicated team crafting each piece by hand in our Bath workshop. You can meet our friendly team and learn more about our traditional craftsmanship techniques.
