Gorgeously simple tulle veil — I wanted something beautifully simple as a lovely backdrop to my dress that had very intricate floral lace. But I also liked the option of not necessarily needing a piece over the top of it or having any of the fixture element showing, as I was just going to have a few fresh flowers on top and under the veil. So after looking at all Britten had to offer, I knew Calypso was right for me. The comb held very well in my low bun. The tulle felt light but also had a bit of a weight, structure and nice full-bodied feel when I picked it up or it flowed out behind me, giving me a gorgeous, regal feel as I moved along. It also withstood a photoshoot in the woodlands, with it even lightly snagging on brambles, but it looks the same as when I got it out the box! The Britten team were also so helpful in helping me select the right off-white colour for my veil. I miss wearing the veil already. . .
