Where the reviews come from
Every review is from a verified buyer. One star or five, it goes up as it arrives.
A few weeks after each order is delivered, we send a review invitation through Yotpo, an independent review service. The Etsy, Google and Trustpilot numbers above come from those sites. We couldn't edit them even if we wanted to.
We read every review in our Bath workshop and use them to check our work. Almost nine in ten get a personal reply, usually from Sarah. You'll see some below, kisses and all.

I struggled to find a veil with dainty pearls until I found Britten weddings. The pearls were very small and flat on one side. Perfect for achieving my barely there vision of a veil with some texture but not super obvious. The veil was the perfect final touch to making me feel like a princess on my special day.

I couldn’t be happier with my veil, when deciding on my wedding outfit I was concious of budget so chose to go for an affordable dress but treated myself to this veil because I could see the craftsmanship and quality and knew it would elevate my entire outfit. It arrived beautifully packaged and the comb was sturdy and comfortable and I couldn’t have been happier. I got so many compliments on my veil and I know I will treasure it forever as a keepsake of my special day!

I absolutely loved this veil for it's minimalistic and sophisticated style, I wanted something that wouldn't cover the back of my dress or crowd my head and this was perfect. The pencil edge gives it a finished look without being too heavy.
It was so perfect that my best friend and maid of honour is going to wear it for her upcoming wedding as her 'something borrowed'.

I’m so glad the veil worked so well with your dress and gave you exactly the look you wanted. The pencil edge is one of my favourites for that subtle finish too. I ordered traditional and Italian tulle samples to help me compare materials. They arrived promptly, beautifully packaged in a tulle drawstring bag, each with a handwritten label attached. You can really feel the pride and hard work behind this business. I really appreciated the handwritten note from Sarah as well; such a lovely personal touch. I cannot wait to order my veil from Britten! xxx

Unbelievable customer service
Sarah was so helpful and patient with me. I had several questions and she responded very quickly. I ordered samples to compare colors and to see quality of fabric before purchasing a veil for my daughter. The samples are beautifully finished and packaged. They made it easy to pick the perfect shade. I highly recommend getting the samples first-they gave me confidence in my final decision! Thank you Sarah!!

I wanted somthing light and barely there with good quality material and I got just that. So beautifully put together and gorgeous feel to the materiel. Its certainly made my wedding outfit complete.

I wasn't planning to wear a veil at all - I was nervous it wouldn't go with my dress - so ordering the Ilona was a last-minute decision, about two weeks or so before the wedding. It arrived promptly, and the elbow-length version fit beautifully and went with the dress far better than I'd expected.
