The day
Britten Bride Anita married Angus in an intimate garden ceremony at Kings Park in Perth, Australia, followed by a reception at The Old Brewery with around 60 family and friends. Anita wore a lace-edged gown by Wendy Makin Bridal Designs, sourced from Always and Forever Bridal, paired with a mantilla-style veil and Britten's handmade Avril hairpins, Cora earrings, Hermione necklace and Catherine garter. The couple, who met online and got engaged in Sydney, kept the ceremony short in the summer heat before dancing to the Baker Boys Band at their waterside reception.
