We offer two shades:
Off-white — our palest shade. A soft, clean bridal white with very little warmth or creaminess.
Ivory — warmer and creamier. Best suited to gowns with a soft or traditional ivory tone.

Position the net across your face at the height you like, then slide a comb into your hair just above each ear, teeth facing back towards your hairline. The 'Iris' sits beautifully with a low bun, chignon or sleek updo, where the combs have something to grip. For more styling advice, please read our wedding veil guide or get in touch.
Yes. A birdcage weighs almost nothing, so there is very little pulling against the combs. For extra hold, especially with fine or very smooth hair, cross two grips in an X just where each comb will sit and slide the comb over them; your hairdresser can also add a little backcombing underneath. It works well with updos, chignons and braids. If you have a short crop or bob, our headband style, the 'Etta', may suit you better.
Russian net is the traditional millinery veiling, recognisable by its open diamond weave. It is crisp rather than soft, and that firmness is exactly what allows a birdcage to hold its curve around the face. The net drops approximately 23cm from the combs as standard.
