Kate looked beautiful in a Catherine Deane dress with delicate lace detailing on the bodice. Kate also wore a bolero and belt by Naomi Neoh and Jenny Packham for LK Bennett.

Earlier in the year Kate visited us for an appointment to help find a beautiful lace edge veil that would complement her dress and found her ourSemi edged wedding veil with lace around train - 'Poppy'. She also completed her look with  a pair ofearrings - Liberty in Love, and a white gold and pearl bracelet from Coppins of Corsham, which was a present from the groom!

Kate had a beautiful classic bouquet from Flowers of Bath, her inspiration was from the Royal wedding of Megan and Harry. As she loved the ‘white flowers against the green foliage which look simplistic yet timeless’.  Kate and her sister went to school with Ella the owner at Flowers of Bath - “Ella was amazing!”

Kate's sister's housemate Molly Grey, handily is a Bobbi Brown make up artist, and did the makeup for the wedding, along with the hair by Scarlett Biddall.

It was really important to Kate and Jason to use as many friends and 'local' suppliers as they possibly could! Such asthe wedding car was a local company based in Westrop 2 miles from where they live, the wedding buses which transported all the guests to the reception were as a result of Kate’s Dad using his old PE teacher contacts with Calne buses! They also  made all the favours (Sloe Gin!) using Sloes from Jason's Mum tree in her garden!

The catering was looked after bySearceys,The food and service at the Assembly Rooms was incredible; we had one of the managers, Felix, even dancing with us at the end of the night!”. Kate and Jason also had an amazing feature piece. “Jason's Brother in law made us our incredible cake and cheese 'cake',we had two cakes (Jason likes cake and I like cheese!) so we had both and these were made by our brother in law, Patrick Grainger who owns Punch and Judy Bakery in Bridport.”

The band Soul Fresh played at the couples wedding,a Funk andSoul Act who take classic tracks and add their soul and RnB twist. “They were absolutely insane and everybody loved them - so much so they stayed and partied with us when they finished their set!

The first dancewas 'Runaway' by Bruno Mars which was the first concert the couple, attended together! They loved the upbeat song and thought it was the perfect way to get everybody on the dancefloor, which definitely worked!”

A memorable moment of the day included,“the speeches were amazing - particularly when the best man found and played a CD of Jason rapping to Eminem to try and raise money for his local football team!”

Kate had a lot of inspiration for her big day includingPinterest to find images and set about creating items themselves, such as the favours! The table names at the reception were all named after Historical Palaces or Castles, - Kate is a history teacher so it was a lovely way of incorporating her own interests into the day and very fitting given the historical surroundings!

The special day was captured by Sophie Collins Photography. “Our photographer, Sophie, went to university with my sister who was one of my bridesmaids and they had worked on a project together so she seemed like a natural choice to Jason and I.”

Another thing we saw through research was beautiful calligraphy. All the calligraphy for the day was done by one of my bridesmaids, Lydia Shillaker, who spent hours making the most perfect canvasses, table names and name cards for every guest - a mammoth task which was absolutely stunning!”

Kate and her husband an incredible time in Sri Lanka where we stopped at various points around the country including the tea plantations, saw religious festivals and sights, went on safari and saw wild elephants, and had a week in the north east to enjoy the sunshine. We even had an internal flight on a sea plane which was terrifying yet amazing!

Thank you so much Kate for sharing your images with us, it looked like an amazing day.
