Real bride Hannah said 'I do' at groom Tom's local family church, surrounded by the beautiful Hampshire countryside and its quaint villages, with their reception held in a delightfully quirky but equally delightful setting.

'Tom was due to start a short deployment two days after the wedding, so it was really important to both of us that we just had fun and relaxed. I don’t think either of us stopped smiling for a second and we were glued to each other’s side all day! We had the best time.'

The couple hired the international award-winning photographer Emmie Scott to take photographs on the day, and she did not disappoint. Blending in with the other wedding guests she was able to bring her artistic and epic style to special moments during the ceremony and afterwards. Hannah was totally impressed with Emmie's style and the final images, saying:

'She’s the most wonderful, awesome photographer!'

Hannah wore a timeless minimalist bridal gown from Ladybird Bridal, bought from Sophie Grace Bridal in Wokingham. The silk wedding dress created a stunning sheath silhouette, accented with a narrow crystal-embellished waist belt to add a hint of sparkle to her classic bridal look.

Our Britten Bride was also treated to makeup by the 'amazing' independent beauty therapist Jemma at Potter’s Beauty Barn in Hampshire, who used subtle eye and lip shades to achieve a natural fresh-faced look.

Hannah accessorised her gown with our stunning cathedral length custom horsehair two tier wedding veil 'Atlas'. After liaising with our design team, Hannah helped to add her own special touch to the Atlas veil with delicate 'Amara' lace motifs around the train. The lace motifs added a little extra detail to complement the clean lines of the overall bridal look.

She also chose our blush tulle wedding garter with delicate lace 'Alyssa', fulfilling a bridal tradition with soft tulle ruffles and a floral lace motif.

Adding the perfect finishing touch, Hannah carried a gorgeous posey bouquet from BluBelle Lane flowers, as she walked down the aisle:

'Looking through her portfolio, I knew she was the right florist - every bouquet was in a different style. She really cared about what was in my head and somehow perfectly made it into being.'

The couple exchanged vows at Tom's local family church in the idyllic village of St Mary Bourne, Hampshire. In the nerve-wracking moments leading up to the ceremony, the twosome were left with a tense, but amusing, tale to tell:

'I arrived quite late to the church as we’d hired a very old land rover and didn’t realise it could only do 20mph! Tom was so worried about me. One of my favourite moments was seeing the relief and joy in his face as I walked down the aisle. Getting him to lift my veil back just added to the excitement.'

'After the church, we took time away at our favourite dog-walking spot which overlooks the village. This, for me, was the best part of the day. It gave us both time to let the magnitude of marriage sink in and enjoy that feeling together, before being swept up in all the fun and madness.'

As the bride and groom spent time together along, the rest of the wedding party made their way to an old dairy farm, for the nearby reception. On their decision to host their post-ceremony celebration in such a unique venue, Hannah said:

'I grew up working on dairy farms as a teenager and now work as a vet, so it just felt so right!'

The floral wedding cake was made by Hannah and her mum:

'She’s so clever and made beautiful sugar flowers which looked exactly like my bouquet.

And the 'dreamy' catering was provided by Vaughan’s Kitchen in Wiltshire.

Following their wedding, Tom headed off to fulfil his work duties, but once he returned, the couple jetted off on honeymoon for two blissful weeks in Bali. Waiting for their trip, Hannah commented:

'I can’t wait to simply spend time alone together, explore the countryside and let the world pass us by.'

We wish you both the best of luck and many years of happiness to come, thank you, Hannah and Tom, for allowing us to take a sneak peek at your special day, and we're so pleased that your veil turned out to be even more elegant and lovely than we imagined.
