How do I choose the right size wedding garter for my leg?

Our Elme garter features ivory velvet elastic that provides comfortable stretch and secure fit. You can choose from different sizes to make sure it fits perfectly, see our blog post for more information! The super sleek design works particularly well under tight fitting dresses.

Can I wear a lace wedding garter with any dress style?

Absolutely, the Elme's super sleek design makes it particularly fabulous under tight fitting dresses. The delicate leaf lace and low profile ensure it won't create bulk or visible lines under your gown.

How should I care for my lace wedding garter after the ceremony?

Your garter arrives in a handmade lace dustbag for protection. We recommend storing it in the optional luxurious keepsake box to preserve the delicate leaf lace and tiny crystals for generations to come.

What is the tradition behind having a toss garter?

The toss garter allows you to keep your beautiful wedding garter as a keepsake whilst participating in the traditional garter toss ceremony. Your Elme set includes both pieces, so you can preserve the meaningful 'something blue' crystals forever.

Why choose a handmade wedding garter over mass-produced options?

Each Elme garter is individually handmade in our boutique workshop in Bath, England, ensuring superior quality and attention to detail. The careful construction means your garter will remain a treasured heirloom long after your wedding day.
