One of the most stressful and expensive things about planning your wedding is finding the perfect venue. Every bride has an idea of what her perfect wedding will look like but in reality, finding the ‘right’ place to host your reception might not be the easiest thing to accomplish. Whether it is financial constraints, or because all the best places are booked for the next 2 years, there are multiple things that you can think of doing that can dramatically alter the appearance and atmosphere of any venue.
One of the best things that you could do is think about your lighting. An old barn, a hotel conference room, your backyard, village hall, or even your local pub can be marvelously brought to life by using candles, twinkle lights, lanterns, illuminated signs and so much more. If you’re willing to shop around, and do a little DIY, none of these options would break the bank account. A little creativity can go a long way!
Here are our favourite lighting options that will hopefully inspire:

Will you be adding any additional lighting at your wedding? We'd love to know what sort of thing you're thinking of doing!
