With a shimmering gown and delicate silk style tulle veil, Britten Bride Kate looked radiant and elegant at her September countryside wedding.
Starting their new life together as man and wife at Donington Park Farmhouse in Castle Donington, the happy couples' smiles and romantic wedding day moments were caught on camera by bridal photography team The Georges.
Kate wore the sparkling beaded ivory Enid wedding dress by Watters Wtoo, bought from Lori G Bridal Studio in Derby, and teamed the plunge neck bridal gown design with the delicate single tier silk style wedding veil Isabella to complement her overall look to perfection. She wore a floral hair vine, Flora pinned above the veil.
Our stunnning real bride also accessorised her gown with new crystal drop earrings from Pandora and jewellery that held an extra special significance to her:
'My locket was my Grandma’s who sadly passed away before the wedding. Inside thelocket, I had a photo of my brother Sam who died 5 years ago, so it was incredibly special to wear and have him with me on the day.'
Including their youngest relatives within the bridal party, the wedding itself was a real family affair filled with lots of love and laughter. The bride and groom even recruited their incredibly cute two-year-old nephew as ringbearer, for an extra 'aww'-inducing touch.
Members of the wedding party had travelled far and wide to be with the couple as they said 'I do', with friends and family visiting from Australia, Singapore, and America. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests celebrated in the wonderful converted barn setting of the farmhouse, and, taking inspiration from the gospel choir at Harry and Meghan's royal wedding, the couple shared their first dance together to 'Stand by Me' by Ben E King.
Without waiting around, the couple celebrated their new status as man and wife with a mini-moon in Iceland straight after the wedding, and their wanderlust continues with a full honeymoon trip taking in the sights of New York, San Francisco, and Yosemite this spring.
Thank you so much for sharing your special moments with us Kate, we loved looking at your pictures, and we thought our veil worked beautifully with your dress. Here's to wishing you all the best as you enjoy your honeymoon this year.
